Designed for use with a multitude of techniques and in varied conditions, the Ultra 4 is the ultimate in flotation, casting and durability.
This line has revolutionary AST (Advanced Shooting Technology). Unlike other slickness additives, AST is integrated into the line so it will never leech out and you'll never need to dress the line. It is a 'dry slick', not the oily kind of 'silicone slick' found in competitor lines which can attract dirt and algae. Patented AST keeps lines dry, slick and clean, allowing them to float higher and shoot farther for a much longer time. It also minimises tangling.
The Ultra 4 Weight Forward line has a mid-length head for the ideal balance of distance and control. The range has different taper designs depending on each line's typical range, and has a weight specific front taper to ensure proper delivery and optimum performance.
